Microdosing Mushroom in Community
Harm Reduction Model

Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies aimed at reducing negative health, social and legal consequences associated with substance use.
Holos Integrative Health stands for responsible empowered living, and honoring the choice of the individual.
Holos Integrative Health and Wild Art Therapy do not promote, provide nor prescribe the use of illicit substances.
We believe that sharing evidence based practice, self and co-regulation strategies, and creating safe community containers aligns with our mission of empowering each individual in their personalized healing journey.

Goals of Microdosing Psilocybin Integrated Support
Together, we will:
Explore the evidence, research, indications and contraindications of “magic” mushrooms, with emphasis on microdosing
Demystify the process and explore the safe preparation of a microdose
Discuss common pitfalls, questions, options and safety when considering self-prescribed microdosing
Learn more about the process of neuroplasticity, and how we can begin to “change our mind”
Support the interconnected mind, body and spiritual experience while microdosing, through integration
Connect with like minded members of our community

6 x bi-weekly Zoom meetings (1.5 hours per session)

Winter 2023

Wild Art Therapy and Hands On Horses are starting off 2023
with a program supporting teens!

Transpersonal Wilderness Therapist Nathan Torti, MA, RCT (with 20 years in the field) and Equine Specialist Dawn Josey (with 10 years as a professional with horses) are facilitating another equine therapy group to build self esteem, learn how to calm big emotions like anxiety or fear as well as develop clear communication skills.

This Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) offers participants a calm, emotionally safe connection with horses. Instead of riding, all activities are "ground work" and relational, as people learn how to communicate with the horses and each other.

This program is evidence-based support for PTSD, Anxiety, Grief & Loss and other activated nervous systems. Playing with these gentle giants can show us who we truly are and help us to feel safe in our own body, accepted, seen and heard. EAP empowers self confidence, teaches us how to use our Voice, strengthen attachment bonds and communicate more clearly. The benefits are endless and the relationships between horses and humans are ancient.

"It was like an island of calm in my usually chaotic life" - previous participant

This group is covered under most health insurance!

4 consecutive
Mondays, starting March 6
